Between both language, which one is a lot easier?

I’m currently trying to learn Japanese language seriously and I hope this is my imagination only but I think my Japanese language is getting rusty..Perhaps the lack from watching anime XD

Even the word 2 person or “二人” pronounced as futari, when I was trying to remember how to pronounced it (I was chit chatting with a Japanese co-worker), I simplified it as two = ni and person = nin, so, ni nin = futari. Yeah, I know its stupid but somehow, a simple words as futari, I can’t seem to recalls yeah..headesk time

And I think my Japanese co-worker seems to enjoy seeing me getting blurred, fidgeting and getting frustrated on figuring what the hell he is talking about. He’s definitely an S XD

So, we had a talk yesterday on language, how old I am when I started learning English, my slang (including giving him an example of what slang means^^) and so, he asked me one bonus question, Japanese and English, which one is harder?and he said Japanese languages is a lot easier.

If you asks me, English is a lot easier.Perhaps the reason is I had learnt English ever since I was a toddler and the same goes to him for learning Japanese at early age.

Other than that, English is A LOT EASIER to read. As long as you know the alphabet or called romaji in Japanese, you can read English and understands that (ignore the fact that you probably pronounce it in the wrong way). Japanese writing system we called as katakana, hiragana and kanji is a lot harder especially when it comes to kanji. For katakana and hiragana, as long as you can remember the main, example:

Hiragana: あ、え、い、お、う <–(a,e,i,o,u)

Katakana: ア、エ、イ、オ、ウ    <–(a,e,i,o,u)

where katakana is usually used for English word that has been ” Japanize” (my own term btw) and hiragana is for Japanese words. The trickiest part is, not all word is used as hiragana else, people will get, that’s where kanji comes into the picture.

more example:

English: My name is Zizie

Japanese: watashi-no-namae-wa-Zizie-desu

Hiragana :

Its quite hard to explain but as you can see, the hiragana characters that is colored in light green and yellow is changed into kanji character. While my name, Zizie is using Katakana character to show that my name is not belong to any of Japanese words..or something like that.

For Kanji part, its very hard to explain..That’s why personally, I think Japanese language is a lot harder than English. At least I can read English directly..I can only read several simple kanji characters..I really hope I can read kanji in the future *wish hard* XD

Anyway, what do you guys think about it? Play with poll and leave your thought behind^^

I saw the story for couple of times since my sis really likes the stow and yesterday was the finale episode.

My comment:
overall the “jalan cerita” is about a dad (Rashid) who has a grunge towards this one family (I’m sorry that I didn’t remember the uncle’s name except the fact I know they kept calling him org tua, org tua meaning old guy..rude word by the way.His grand daughter name is Lyza).
The story is very interesting as Rashid plots over on how to manipulate destroy the family. To get close with the family, they killed Lyza’s fiancé in an accident and married her since Rizal (Rashid’s son) is both of Lyza and her fiancé’s best friend. After they got married, lost of things happens which makes the story interesting.

I didn’t watch the story for a week and when I watch it again, suddenly Rizal’s attitude changes as in he was supposed to be a psychopath, he married with Lyza due to his grunge, he killed Lyza’s ex-fiancé, paid a witchdoctor to rape Lyza (note; HIS OWN WIFE), proposing an elder women who has been his friend for so long time already to be his second wife (note: Muslim’s can married up until 4 wife’s only) and so on..

The funny thing is, in the beginning, Rizal seems to loved Lyza very much and we can actually seen from his actions, words and expression. So, it puzzles me when Rizal suddenly became evil in the end cause even if he has a double or split personality from the beginning, he should at least shown it a bit..a hint perhaps, during the starting of the story.Even if he’s crazy, he should at least show his tendency during the early part of the story.

Others? Rizal’s action during the last part wasn’t convincing..heck, if you’re locked up inside mental institution, you wouldn’t even have time to think about personal hygiene. His nail was cut short and clean. his face though its full of stubbles, but we can actually knows that he take cares of his skin.nmpk sgt, not really convincing.
Moreover, the ending was waaaay too long and not really clear..We had to wait for a while to know which one of the characters is dead and the person who was sentence of 7 and 1/2 years of imprisonment pun saya tak tau. Even the reason on why did Rashid hold grunge at Lyza’s family at first wasn’t really clear up until it was on the climax and Lyza’s having two flashes in the same time (she had a power of seeing into the future or past if anything triggers her..or something like that) and during that time we can actually knows the real story behind Rashid’s madness but I think the author of this story can do a lot better if he/she gives a hint throughout the story not concludes every single details in the end.Audience can get impatient.

I wont comment on the actor/actresses performance since I only know one or two of them..

I bought a book on handcraft using eco-friendly items aka recycled products and I’m anxious to try it..

Bad thing is, where should I found unused papers, box and plastics??I didn’t have any.

Buying all of them on purpose is a lot worser. Guess now would have to wait.. a bit XD

Am I very cruel if I said I don’t agree with this? When I read about this it seems like the government is encouraging more and more pregnant teens. Yesterday, there’s another news on one month old fetus found amongst piles of trash bags {here; no picture btw T__T}.

Last month, I found disturbing images regarding another baby that was thrown away by the roadside {articles here; pictures is included}

Why should we bother giving them the privileges of continuing school when they had messed up their first chance? Their babies that was cruelly killed and thrown away doesn’t even had a chance to see this world through their own eyes..not even their first word..not even standing by their own legs. So, why do special privileges are given to them??The parents who thrown away their babies as if they were nothing.( FYI, in my country throwing babies cases are related to unmarried teenagers who got pregnant while still in school..I simply guess they never heard the PROTECTION word*insert sarcasm here*)

Governments are better off focusing educating kids and people in the rural area instead of focusing attentions to them.

Its true there were some cases where the teenagers got pregnant cause they were raped. But you didn’t have to make school especially for them. Send them to counselling, help them to rebuilt their self-esteem and give them choice on what do they want for their future and helps them.

For example if you really make a school for this teenagers, wouldn’t the graduates of the school would be somehow insulted as they carried the name of the school that is known for pregnant teenagers behind their backs for the rest of their lives??(unless they finally find out how to erase that record)

The link to the school articles: here; no usual

My uncle passed away

My uncle passed away at 5.20am this morning at my hometown and I just know about it few minutes ago(and now is 1106am) since my sis left a message on my phone.

It was quite depressing since I’m quite close with my uncle and he raised me as his own since his own son, my age, passed away when he was little. I wanted to cry but I can’t since someone has to be strong.

I missed him. But I cannot go and take holiday just to go to his funeral. I’m in the state of depression

Am I cruel for not attending his funeral?

It’s quite upsetting for today. First I have no means of transport for the rest of this week. Meaning $22 for a day and $88 for a week and that sucks. a lot

Second, I call the damn car dealer and he said my car would only be out after one month which is for is seriously DAMNED inconvenient. Then, what is the point of buying car if I had to wait for one month when I really wanted the DAMN car this week..tODAY to be precise!!

Who should I blame?I believe, for the rest of this week, I won’t eat.Don’t ask why. I just pissed with everything

Learn English peeps~

This question was out during an exam here in Malaysia.Science paper:

Some of the questions taken from the exam paper are listed below:

– “The diagram shows three animals which have the difference way to survive of their species.”

– “What is inference based on this investigation?”

– “Give observation to support the inference in (a)”

– “Predict what animal Q do if enemies disturb their eggs?”

– “What conclusion can be make from this investigation?”

– “They notes their investigation below. (Mereka mencatat penyiasatan seperti di bawah)”

– “One week life spent (Satu minggu jangkahayat)”

– “Tree days life spent (Tiga hari jangka hayat)”

– “What is observation from this investigation?”

– “Predict the distance of the ping pong balls move which on carpet surface.”

– “The diagram shows the relationship between a distance of ball from the torch and the size of the shadow.”

Ask me and I would say its very shameful. I am not laughing at the mistake but ironically I’m crying. If the teachers are at this level, then, what would happens to the students?

I would laugh to see this, if it was in someone else’s blogs or essay but in exam paper? This is sad.

The government should take a strict act to prevent this again.
My suggestion is, accessing the teachers who teaches certain subjects. Just because the teacher has a degree, it doesn’t mean that the person can basically teaches everything.

For English, perhaps the government should make a rule saying that English teachers must passed either IELTS or TOEFL or TESOL/TESL as a basic requirement. Or at least check their MUET (malaysian University English Test) first. If the teachers MUET level is less than band 5, then there is no point for them to become English teacher. I’m not evil for I am worried of the students English level. We all knows that English is used everywhere in this world. Even in Japan, the infamous country where the citizen doesn’t know English, they ARE local Japanese who speaks in English. And I am speaking from my experience.
